== Responses == The Government of Indonesia, especially the leading figures from People's Consultative Assembly, called the flag a threat to the national unity of Indonesia and declared it a symbol of treason and sedition. Various government institutions, such as the Banten regional police, attempted to ban the flag. Meanwhile, the deputy speaker of DPR Sufmi Dasco Ahmad and West Java governor Dedi Mulyadi found no problem with its raising. Minister of State Secretariat Prasetyo Hadi said that President Prabowo had no issues with protesters raising the flag and considered it as freedom of speech, but urged people not to "compare it to, tarnish it, or put it in conflict with the Red and White flag". The Guardian described the flag as "a symbol of defiance and hope for gen Z protesters" which has "resonated across borders". Tokoro Ikuya (床呂郁哉), professor of Tokyo University of Foreign Studies who studies Japanese popular culture, indicated that the flag serves as "an icon conveys a message that could be understood beyond minor different positions". Animanga expert Andrea Horbinski remarked that the flag was a natural uniting symbol, since Gen Z protesters knew that protesters would be familiar with it due to the series' popularity.

There are several classes of diabetes medications available. Metformin is generally recommended as a first line treatment as there is some evidence that it decreases mortality; however, this conclusion is questioned. Additionally it is associated with increased rates of heart disease and death. Injections of insulin may either be added to oral medication or used alone. Most people do not initially need insulin. When it is used, a long-acting formulation is typically added at night, with oral medications being continued. Doses are then increased to effect (blood sugar levels being well controlled). When nightly insulin is insufficient, twice daily insulin may achieve better control.
=== Colonial and Revolutionary eras === True Asian tea (Camellia Sinensis) was first brought to North America by Dutch traders in the 17th century. In the Dutch colony of New Amsterdam, now known as New York, tea was served with the best silver strainers, the finest porcelain cups and pots, and wooden tea caddies. Regular shipments of tea to the American colonies began in the 1720s. Legally, American colonists were only supposed to buy British tea, but in reality, smuggling was widespread, and Dutch, French, and other teas were widely available. Asian tea soon became a very popular drink in the American colonies, and tea parties were common among all classes. The first tea vendors in Boston were Benjamin Harris and Daniel Vernon, who received licenses to sell tea in 1690. In Salem, Massachusetts, tea leaves were boiled to create a bitter brew, then served as a vegetable side dish with butter. By the time of the American Revolution, tea was drunk everywhere from the backwoods to the cities. The view of tea in American culture began to shift when the British government introduced the Townshend Acts in 1767. Tea was taxed as part of these laws which made it less affordable for the colonial population. However, cheaper tea was still smuggled into America. Later in 1773 the Tea Act was put into place which allowed the East India Company (EIC) to gain a monopoly on tea sales in America by being able to sell tea at prices that were cheaper than both the colonial tea importers and smugglers.
Klaus Hermann Mosbach (26 November 1932 – 22 January 2024) was a Swedish applied biochemist based at Lund University. He founded the Center for Molecular Imprinting in Lund, Sweden and was co-founder of the Institute of biotechnology at ETH Zurich Switzerland 1982. He was a great visionary who gave shape to the modern era of Molecular imprinting for which he was awarded the plaque at the international meeting of molecular imprinting in 2010 in New Orleans, United States.

Lorenzo de' Medici (1449–1492) may have had acromegaly. Historical documents and portraits, as well as a later analysis of his skeleton, support the speculation. Sergei Rachmaninoff (1873–1943), pianist and composer, who was noted for his hands that could comfortably stretch a thirteenth on the piano. He was not diagnosed with acromegaly in his lifetime, but a medical article from 2006 suggests that he might have had it. Adam Rainer (22 February 1899 – 4 March 1950), Austrian man who is the only person in recorded history to have been both a dwarf and a giant. He is believed to have had acromegaly.[51]
The Conservative Party under the leadership of Margaret Thatcher won the 1979 general election, placing the Labour Party back in opposition, which served to push the Liberals back into the margins. In 1981, defectors from a moderate faction of the Labour Party, led by former Cabinet ministers Roy Jenkins, David Owen, Shirley Williams and Bill Rodgers founded the Social Democratic Party (SDP). The new party and the Liberals quickly formed the SDP–Liberal Alliance, which for a while polled as high as 50% in the opinion polls and appeared capable of winning the next general election. Indeed, Steel was so confident of an Alliance victory that he told the 1981 Liberal conference, "Go back to your constituencies, and prepare for government!". However, the Alliance was overtaken in the polls by the Tories in the aftermath of the Falkland Islands War and at the 1983 general election the Conservatives were re-elected by a landslide, with Labour once again forming the opposition. While the SDP–Liberal Alliance came close to Labour in terms of votes (a share of more than 25%), it only had 23 MPs compared to Labour's 209. The Alliance's support was spread out across the country, and was not concentrated in enough areas to translate into seats. In the 1987 general election, the Alliance's share of the votes fell slightly and it now had 22 MPs. In the election's aftermath Steel proposed a merger of the two parties. Most SDP members voted in favour of the merger, but SDP leader David Owen objected and continued to lead a "rump" SDP.
== Availability == In part thanks to the wide range of similar PSMA radiopharmaceuticals, approval by regulatory authorities is at varying stages. Even so, use has been widespread in some areas, particularly as part of clinical trials. For example, European Association of Urology (EAU) guidelines have included recommendations to perform PSMA PET scans in certain circumstances since 2018, and there has been widespread agreement of the utility of PSMA scanning for several years.
=== Diplomatic relations === After the UDI, Rhodesia maintained several overseas missions, including Pretoria, and until 1975, Lisbon in Portugal and Lourenço Marques (now Maputo) in Mozambique. Since 1961, Rhodesia had an "Accredited Diplomatic Representative" with South Africa, heading a "Rhodesian Diplomatic Mission" or de facto embassy. Before South Africa left the Commonwealth that year, the then Southern Rhodesia had exchanged High Commissioners with the then Union of South Africa, but following the change in status, the Republic now had a "South African Diplomatic Mission" in Salisbury. During 1965, the government of Rhodesia made moves to establish a mission in Lisbon separate from the British Embassy, with its own accredited representative, having previously been able to establish its own consulate in Lourenço Marques, capital of Portuguese Mozambique. This prompted protests from the British government, which was determined that the representative, Harry Reedman, should be a nominal member of the British Ambassador's staff. For their part, the Portuguese authorities sought a compromise whereby they would accept Reedman as an independent representative but deny him diplomatic status. The Rhodesian Information Office in Washington remained open following UDI, but its director, Ken Towsey, and his staff were deprived of their diplomatic status. Previously, there had been a "Minister for Rhodesian Affairs" operating under the aegis of the British Embassy in Washington, as well representatives in Tokyo and Bonn.
